Kementerian Energi dan Sumber Daya Mineral (ESDM) menyampaikan telah memblokir hingga 15 Izin Usaha Pertambangan (IUP) Timah. Hal ini menyusul kasus korupsi tata niaga timah yang terjadi di kawasan PT Timah (Persero) Tbk. (TINS) belakangan ini.
Direktur Jenderal Mineral dan Batu Bara (Minerba), Tri Winarno menegaskan bahwa sekitar 15 IUP ini tidak memiliki cadangan yang signifikan. Pasalnya, luas wilayah pertambangan di kawasan itu mayoritas dipegang oleh PT Timah.
“Kalau cadangannya gak begitu gede. Luas itu kan hampir 80% itu kan luasnya dimiliki PT Timah, jadi gak terlalu gede lah,” ujar Tri ditemui di Gedung Kementerian ESDM, Jumat (18/10/2024).
Lebih lanjut, Tri menjelaskan bahwa keputusan untuk memblokir sementara IUP-IUP tersebut bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kondisi izin terkait.
“Sementara di blokir dulu lah, ya nanti lihat kasusnya seperti apa, nanti,” ujar Tri.
Sebelumnya, Badan Pengawas Keuangan dan Pembangunan (BPKP) menyebut kerugian negara akibat kasus korupsi tata niaga timah yang menyeret suami Sandra Dewi, Harvey Moeis di wilayah Izin Usaha Pertambangan (IUP) PT Timah Tbk (TINS) periode 2015-2022 diperkirakan mencapai Rp 300 triliun.
Dalam konferensi pers yang digelar Kejaksaan Agung (Kejagung) beberapa waktu lalu, BPKP menjelaskan perkiraan angka kerugian itu berasal dari 3 komponen perhitungan.
Pertama, kemahalan harga sewa smelter oleh PT Timah sebesar Rp 2,85 triliun. Kedua, pembayaran bijih timah ilegal oleh PT Timah ke mitra penambang yang dinilai sebagai kerugian negara sebesar Rp 26,649 triliun
Ketiga, kerugian negara karena kerusakan lingkungan sebesar Rp 271,06 triliun. Komponen kerusakan lingkungan ini dihitung oleh ahli lingkungan Bambang Hero Saharjo dari IPB.
Atas dugaan kasus korupsi ini, Kejaksaan Agung (Kejagung) pun telah menetapkan 22 tersangka. Bahkan, Jaksa Tindak Pidana Khusus (Jampidsus) Kejagung telah melimpahkan 10 orang tersangka dan barang bukti (Tahap 2) Perkara Timah ke Kejaksaan Negeri Jakarta Selatan, pada Kamis (13/6/2024).
