Kapolda Lampung, Irjen Pol Helmy Santika, menerima penghargaan dari Kementerian Kelautan dan Perikanan (KKP) serta Lembaga Kajian Strategis Kepolisian Indonesia (Lemkapi), karena pengungkapan penyelundupan benih bening lobster (BBL) Rp37,3 miliar.
“Pencapaian ini adalah hasil kerja keras bersama. Saya dedikasikan penghargaan ini untuk seluruh jajaran Ditpolairud Polda Lampung yang terus menunjukkan profesionalisme dan dedikasi tinggi,” ujar Irjen Pol Helmy Santika saat memberikan sambutan dalam acara Peringatan HUT Ke-74 Polairud Polda Lampung, Selasa.
Menurut Kapolda, pengungkapan penyelundupan BBL menjadi salah satu bukti nyata keseriusan jajarannya dalam menjaga sumber daya laut dan mencegah kerugian negara akibat praktik ilegal.
“Kasus ini menunjukkan pentingnya sinergi antara kepolisian, masyarakat, dan instansi terkait dalam melindungi kekayaan laut Indonesia,” tegasnya.
Selain penghargaan untuk Kapolda Lampung, 21 anggota Ditpolairud Polda Lampung juga mendapat apresiasi atas dedikasi mereka dalam berbagai operasi penting.
Penghargaan ini mencerminkan komitmen Polda Lampung dalam mendukung penguatan keamanan wilayah perairan.
Irjen Pol Helmy Santika berharap penghargaan ini menjadi motivasi bagi seluruh personel kepolisian untuk terus meningkatkan kinerja.
“Dengan kerja keras dan dedikasi, kita bisa melindungi wilayah Lampung dari berbagai ancaman, baik di darat maupun di laut,” tutupnya.
Sebelumnya, pengungkapan kasus ini terjadi pada Kamis, 10 Oktober 2024, di Dusun VI, Desa Bumi Kencana, Kecamatan Seputih Agung, Lampung Tengah.
Dalam operasi yang dilakukan oleh Ditpolairud Polda Lampung, sebanyak 149.400 ekor bayi lobster berhasil diamankan, dengan estimasi nilai kerugian negara yang berhasil diselamatkan mencapai Rp37,3 miliar. https://makesomethinghappen.net
