Atsiri Research Center (ARC) Pusat Unggulan Iptek (PUIPT) Nilam Aceh Universitas Syiah Kuala (USK) Banda Aceh diundang Trade and Invest Western Australia menjadi salah satu wakil Indonesia pada event Global Tech and Innovation 2024.
“Ini kesempatan emas untuk inovasi nilam Aceh yang dikembangkan oleh USK memasuki pasar global,” kata Kepala ARC USK Banda Aceh Syaifullah Muhammad yang dihubungi dari Banda Aceh, Selasa.
Event yang dilaksanakan Department Jobs, Tourism, Science dan Innovation Pemerintah Western Australia di Perth tersebut diselenggarakan pada 1-6 Desember 2024.
Selain ARC USK, delegasi Indonesia lainnya adalah Kenny Lischer, Universitas Indonesia, Carissa Almira, Medblock dan Asih Karnengsih, Asosiasi Blockchain Indonesia.
Dalam kegiatan ini, ada 18 delegasi internasional yang diundang selain ARC, ada juga ACE Singapura, Aus Chain, Innolabs Asia, Huali Global, Wentilabs, IOT Sata, Boka Group, Innova8s, T Hub, dan lainnya.
Syaifullah mengatakan, pada event ini ARC USK menampilkan berbagai produk turunan nilam seperti hi-grade patchouli fraksi ringan dan fraksi berat, parfum neelam, skincare antiaging series biona dan elgeena.
Adapun produk skincare antiaging series biona dan elgeena tersebut meliputi cleanser, toner, serum, face mist, moisturizer, day and night cream. Selain itu, juga ada produk nilam body serum, hand cream, alkina aroma terapi.
Syaifullah Muhammad menyampaikan, Global Tech and Innovation di Perth Australia ini memberi kesempatan kepada mereka untuk membuka jaringan global dengan berbagai entitas internasional.
“Tidak mudah untuk menjadi peserta dalam event internasional ini. Karena melewati beberapa tahapan seleksi yang dilakukan oleh pemerintah Western Australia,” ujar Syaifullah.
Dia mengucapkan terima kasih kepada Rektor USK Banda Aceh atas izin yang diberikan dan International Labor Organization (ILO) khususnya untuk promise II impact project yang telah membiayai perjalanan ARC ke Australia.
